CbyC Jewelry was born from an idea during a trip to Barcelona in 2009 when I, Cecilia, was inspired by a necklace I saw while traveling. Back in Sweden, I decided to create my own piece with a similar design. My first necklace, featuring a large wooden bead that I lacquered and glass beads that I hand-threaded, quickly sold out in a friend’s shop. However, when the products started breaking, I realized the importance of quality. This became the foundation of CbyC: a commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.

CbyC stands for "Created by Cecilia" and was founded in Stockholm the same year, in 2009. Today, I run the company with my daughter Julia, with the goal of creating jewelry that combines high quality with affordable prices. Our pieces are handmade, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern materials, resulting in timeless and unique collections. Our jewelry is crafted with the same methods used in fine jewelry, but with materials that make it accessible to more people.
