CbyC Jewelry was born from an idea during a trip to Barcelona in 2009 when I, Cecilia, was inspired by a necklace I saw while exploring the city. Back in Sweden, I decided to create my own version. My first necklace, featuring a lacquered wooden bead and hand-threaded glass beads, sold out quickly in a friend’s shop. However, when the pieces started breaking, I realized the importance of quality. That moment became the foundation of CbyC: a commitment to creating sustainable, well-crafted jewelry.

CbyC stands for "Created by Cecilia" and was founded in Stockholm the same year. Today, I run the company alongside my daughter Julia. Since joining in 2019, Julia has brought new energy and a shared passion for design. Working together as mother and daughter has its challenges, but it’s also incredibly rewarding. We complement each other in a way only family can, and our vision for CbyC is the same: to create jewelry that is made to last and loved every day. It’s a privilege to share this journey with her.
